This was our first booking abroad as a family. I had reservations, but need not have worried at all. The Housetrip website is very easy to negotiate. It was very straight forward to check if a property was available, and speedy. I heard from my host the next day that our requested dates were free. Booking through this site was secure and upfront with all costs clearly shown. I loved the secure way I could message the host ahead of arrival with any queries. I really liked that payment would not be made to the hosts until after we arrived and we were happy all was in order; this gave me complete peace of mind. Having customer service telephone no. to take with us also helped. We had no problems what so ever with our holiday and knew exactly who to contact if we did. We will definitely use this site again. Brilliant!
