We (a family with 2 teenage girls) have used Housetrip twice and both times have been unqualified successes - Rome and Montreal. The hosts have been extremely helpful and the properties suited us well. The website is easy to use, and our experience with getting replies to questions has been excellent. The biggest difficulty is that there is so much choice and so you "don't know if you are doing the right thing". In our case it worked out great both times. We will use the service again. I enjoy having the pictures, maps and reviews to orient to. I have not needed to use the guarantee as our properties were great, but it is nice to have the security.
