We made a reservation for an apartment in Rome 7 months before our departure date. One week before our arrival the host cancelled our reservation saying that there was problem with the apartment. a HouseTrip staff called me on my phone to inform me and with her diligent help we found another apartment that turned out to be better than the one we originally booked. This new apartment was a little more expensive but HouseTrip gave us a 10% discount so it wasn't too bad.
