Found House Trip on Google whilst looking for suitable hotels after buying air tickets. Having searched the site we found a penthouse in Marsaskala which looked interesting.
From this point everything was simple and quick. We put dates in required and within 24 hours got a reply to say it was available. We then confirmed we wanted it and acknowledgement came back again within 24 hours with our hosts details. This made further communication with host simple using emails.
Another excellent idea the site has is the payment is made to House Trip not the host to begin with. The host only receiving the money 48 hours after your arrival if everything is satisfactory. There is also a sliding scale of refunds if you have to cancel.
To cap it all we got a bonus when we arrived home when we discovered we had earned a free day on any further bookings.
I would recommend House Trip to anyone.
