Would not recommend hotelsone or expedia service

I would not recommend using this hotelsone service for scheduling any travel plans. First you are required to pay for your entire stay when you book even for a refundable reservation that can be cancelled. In my case I paid several months in advance. Next, you have until the day before your trip to make ANY changes including cancellation. Most services require cancellation in advance but will allow you to extend or shorten your trip with no penalty. If something comes up after that window, such as illness or a change or cancellation of a planned event in your itinerary, you will not receive compensation for the remainder even if only one night when your entire stay exceeded that. It put a damper on an once in a lifetime memorable celebration. I would recommend booking.com. instead. I have used booking.com successfully for years. I even booked another stay through booking.com the same day as this one. I wish I had used them for both.
