The lady at Hotel Direct, who dealt with my telephone booking was most helpful. I decided to go for the "Hidden Gem" hotel and she said they were excellent value hotels. She was correct. We stayed at The Cumberland, at the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms, food and staff were all very good. We would stay there again.
We also went to see "Let It Be" at the Garrick Theatre and that was excellent too.
All the booking was carried out most speedily and efficiently. I did wonder if the price would be more, if booked over the phone, rather than the internet, as I was using a voucher gained from a previous booking and could only use it over the phone. But I checked and the total price quoted was slightly less, if anything ! Can't praise the service enough. I highly recommend Hotel Direct.
