Overall we were very happy with Hotel Direct. We believe we had good service and a good price. We were kept informed prior to the visit and we were able to put a price check on the hotel.
We liked the fact that we could have cancelled up to 48 hours before the stay, although this did not prove necessary.
After we had booked we did then see an offer with HD that included Buffet Breakfast. Upon contacting the firm we were first of all told this would cost more although this did not tally with the information on the site. We re-checked the Internet, phoned back and another member of staff took the time to check with the hotel and contacted us within 5 minutes to assure us that breakfast would be included at no extra cost. (Buffet Breakfast) This was a great saving for us since we were paying for 6 family members!
We would have liked to know that some rooms were internal before we booked and that in some rooms showers are over the bath and the baths have quite a wide side making them difficult to climb into.
