I booked a theatre break for myself and a friend, and we planned to stay for 2 nights it London and take in a show. Sadly, my husband was admitted to hospital and was very ill. I couldn't let my friend down, so decided to see the show and stay 1night instead. I contacted Hotel Direct to change the booking, explaining the circumstances. I was contacted by phone and email, offering a refund for the night I cancelled, which I didn't expect. I was so surprised and delighted. I have told all my friends about this and will continue to recommend Hotel Direct and will use them in the future.
