Choice, value & simplicity of booking

We booked at fairly last minute for a 2 night theatre break. We specifically wanted to see Phantom of the Opera and there were lots of choices of hotels and seats in the theatre to make up a personalised package. The booking process was quick and easy and the e-mail confirmation was prompt. The e-ticket system worked perfectly at both the hotel and the theatre. St Ermyn's Hotel was not the cheapest but is perfectly positioned for visiting the sights and was very smart and comfortable, with a classy building and very attentive staff. Her Majesty's Theatre on Haymarket was a very nice building and our seats on the Grand Balcony geve us a pretty good view of an exceptionally enjoyable production.
It would have been nice to have an idea of the view from our theatre seats before booking. A detailed street map showing the location of the hotel and distances to the nearest tube station and tourist sites would be useful too.
