I made a last minute booking looking for a hotel in Leeds over a weekend. In spite of the fact that Leeds is a very popular weekend destination for weddings, hen and stag nights and so on, I had plenty of choice of reasonably priced hotels. The booking process was very quick and I got instant confirmation. The hotel itself was fine - pretty much as the review on the HotelDirect website suggested. It would always be nice to have more idea about exactly what type of room you are likely to get - e.g. whether it is possible to prefer an upper floor, a room with a view etc. but this is pretty much the case for any type of booking. Overall we were happy with the choice of hotel and the service provided through HotelDirect.
