After agreeing to a figure of GBP 656.00 for two gave the operator all my card details. Once he had all my details, he said that it would be 807.94. I told him to cancel it. It was worrying and I had talked to the Bank, and they replaced my card.

Horrible experience. This sort of agents should be reported and shut down

I'm sorry you have experienced problems with an advertiser featured on our site, and I'm keen to get the bottom of this for you.

As Holiday Discount Centre are a price comparison site - bookings are made with the advertiser rather than the website.
