We booked last minute through gocruise.co.uk which meant we paid a fraction of what we did last time. Having been on Fred. Olsen cruises before we knew exactly what to expect. Having smaller ships means the feel is completely different than that of other cruise liners. The staff were lovely as ever and the ship was kept very clean. I did feel this voyage was more crowded than ones we’d been on previously but the people were nice and it didn’t really turn out to be a bad thing at all.
The entertainment on board was good, especially the comedian don reid who told some hilarious stories, amazing energy for a man of his age. All in all we had a good time, maybe not as good as our last cruise but still very good. I would recommend this type of cruise to anyone around the years 65-80.
