This company has a lot of mixed reviews which, when read (after ordering tickets) unnerved me quite a lot. Luckily I booked nearly 4 months before date of travel so I had time to work things out. I booked tickets to Australia with a preferred airline, and paid more than I had originally planned, due to the airline and flight times/route etc. The staff member who dealt with my order was always friendly, courteous and pleasant, even if he didn't completely come up with what he promised, which was: tickets within 17 days of my payment. This 17 days turned into 6 weeks & I started to get grumpy! I was told by an external source (not working for the company) that this travel company would no doubt call me back to tell me that there was a problem with the airline & offer me other tickets for more money. This is exactly what happened. Apparently, due to the first airline having "overbooked", they offered me tickets with 2 stops instead of 1, or another airline leaving & returning on different dates but for the same money - neither was acceptable & I told them so. They then offered me flights with another airline for £200 extra. On principal I declined but asked for the flight details to look at. It just so happened that these dates and routes served my purpose & I accepted the deal. They issued the tickets without first having taken the extra payment and we then settled up the extra cost, once I'd checked details of the flights (with the airline). I still have 2 months to go before I travel & do believe that they would have given me a refund if requested, should I have refused all alternative options they offered.
It seems that this company have agreements with airlines in order to buy cancelled tickets cheaper and they then sell these on to their customers. The mistake they make is by telling the customer that they will definitely have the tickets as ordered - I don't feel that they can guarantee this. My advice would be only to use this company if you have the time & nerves to risk an airline/route/date change and/or possible extra charge. Having said that, I paid a lot less than going directly to the airline for the same tickets, so in my case, I'm now happy & looking forward to my holiday. Good Luck!
