I recently booked a flight over the phone with a Flycheapest agent called Patrick who offered me a £995 flight to Harare and asked me to quickly deposit money in their HSBC account as there were limited seats of which i did the very afternoon. I rang him to confirm and he turned around and said he needed to liaise with Egypt Air and will issue the ticket in 2/3 days time. I gave it 4 days and called back only to be told by another agent, Patrick was on holiday for a week and they couldn't issue the ticket as isnt available at the price I paid! He asked to pay another £185 for the another flight, meanwhile my hubby checked on prices on the site and entered his mobile and immediately got a call from David who confirmed he could do a him a deal at £984 and asked him deposit the money ASAP if he need a ticket. After numerous calls I spoke to the manager Annie, who gave 2 options; top up or get a refund and also confirmed they couldn't issue tickets for the £984 deal as its was unavailable...this was literally 20 minutes from the initial offer. I asked for the refund and now im struggling to get it as I was initially told to check my account in 24 hours by these very rude agents and now being told a further 72hrs meanwhile tickets are £250 more as I intend to travel on 1st of August and at this rate Im not even sure I'm getting my money back!!
