“Watch out for hidden costs”

I booked a return flight from Ottawa, Canada to Orlando, Florida through flighthub. They had the best price and only one stop so I booked it. It wasn't until I was on that stop, on the way down, that I realized that they had switched airports on me in Washington. The airports were 30 miles apart and since there was no free shuttle between airports, I had to take a $80 cab ride from one airport to the other. Here is where it gets very interesting. Searched for a particular flight on cheapflightsfinder.com as usual. Found a decent price, {so it appeared anyway}, on flighthub.com. Upon selecting the particular flight and paying with a credit card I was issued a receipt to print and a conformation was sent to my Email account. Yep, same thing just happened with me. My tickets went up $200 in a matter of minutes apparently, even though British Airways cannot confirm that they raised their price. They falsely advertise lower prices and then hold your tickets ransom until you pay more. This practice has to be against the law.

When booking a flight to Orlando with connections in Washington, I did not see the change of airport on the itinerary. the printout did not highlight the change, but did highlight the fact I did not take there insurance, which they strongly recommended. Once I found out about the switch from Reagan airport to Dulles, I tried to get it corrected. The handling by the FlightHub staff was substandard and a supervisor would not take or return my call. Beware! There are HIDDEN conversion fees that you bank will charge you if you pay in USD$ or any another currency than CAD$. * This is a Canadian company. If you pay in another currency than CAD$, you will be charged more than 3% for currency conversion by your bank! “Beware of Cheap flight - Scammy cancellation fees”

Mistakenly booked a cheap flight online going to Vegas with layover in Ragina but did not realized the layover is almost 24 hrs so I cancelled the booking immediately but due to time difference and difficulties contacting the 1-800 number I ended up cancelling the booking the following day but still with in 10 hrs. after booking. “Beware the deception!”

This was the worst booking experience ever! The Best Price Guarantee is ambiguous. Your "same day" is not the same as their "same day". Trying to cancel your flight by phone will end up going through a series of hang-ups. E-mails will be ignored until its too late. Then they hose you with their schedule of charges. Even though the website flight amount is identical to the one you just booked they tell you that your ticket is now "in a different class". What's that? “Stay away from these guys!”

Avoid this business at all costs. Not only are they impossible to deal with, but they do a "money grab" with their $20 insurance ... it's only good till midnight of the booking date even though they lead you to think it's a flight insurance. “date change due to oversight”

Just finished a flight change with flighthub. Very poor service, they seemed more interested in collecting more fees than actually helping. My daughter was attempting to change flights because of an incorrect date oversight. I was on the web page for the airline at the time of the conversation and the agent would not agree with the flight fees!!!! The airline seemed very surprised that the flight wasn't showing in the system, and that I hadn't been notified that that route had been discontinued. I bought four tickets, each charged $ 3 more than the stated total. I have repeatedly been promised a refund, but have no serious expectation of getting it. Nowhere on the website is there any mention of hidden charges and I was not notified of any changes in price before my credit card was charged. “Flighthub is the worst!”

Using Flighthub was a terrible experience. I paid extra to be able to rebook or cancel my flight but they only let you cancel or rebook on the same day as you booked. Next I had misspelt my name on my ticket and after being hung up on and on hold for over an hour and a half I was told that it was against their policy to change my name to the correct spelling. “Insurance issue”

Just booked a flight from Toronto to Tampa and realized that we were charged for the deluxe package RBC Insurance of $249. Yes is the default and you do not get a summary of the total cost to confirm everything is correct. We do not need this insurance--it is almost 1/2 the cost of the flight. I'm really surprised you were even able to get through on the 20th. I called every 15 minutes (from 8:30am til 6pm), and only got busy signals about 75% of the time. The other 25% of the time, I was put on hold until I was hung up on.

There were some issues that happened during booking because of their system and Im pleased to say that it was fairly resolved by their helpful customer service. They add on a price guarantee fee of $19.99 WITHOUT TELLING YOU, then when you try to cancel the flight within 24 hours (which the price guarantee says they allow you to do) YOU CAN'T REACH THEM!!!
