Lindos Imperial

My friend and I have just returned 2 days ago from the Lindos Imperial Hotel The hotel was beautiful with so many different areas to sunbathe and swim. The food was good and plenty of choice. Maybe it could have been kept a bit warmer. The all inclusive drinks and food package was excellent and never needed to be upgraded. The theme night we went to (Greek) was super with much variety. The beach access was made as easy as possible despite the gritty beach, but there were loungers and taps to rinse off the grit.

Generally the reception staff were kind and helpful, but it would have been a good idea to point out that there was a guest reception just on the opposite side of the hotel lobby, to tell us about trips out. We had to find out for ourselves.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable, though we wondered why there was no mattress cover,just a bottom sheet.

There is just one quibble. Partly due to our non-reading of the item on the transfer page we were horrified to find that not only did we have to sit and wait for an hour in the coach for another flight to arrive, we had to drop off others all the way which meant 2 and a half hours more! As we hadn't been prepared for this we had no water and nothing to eat at all. If only you had pointed out VERY CLEARLY that it would be so long and a good idea to arm ourselves with food and water.

The hotel, however, provided a bottle of wine and a fairly unpalatable sandwich at midnight. We were very grateful. We would certainly go again.
