Good, but not 5 Star

This is a well equipped and beautifully maintained hotel with welcoming, helpful and hard working staff. The location is excellent with wonderful views of the sea across to the mainland and lovely grounds. The pools are pleasant and the beach area very appealing.

The accommodation was comfortable, but the plumbing noisy and the walls between apartments thin. Food was plentiful, with most guests on a full board option. This meant that the main restaurant became very crowded and often one had to queue. Our package allowed one meal at one of the specialist restaurants (table service, not buffet) and here the food was significantly better and the dining experience more in keeping with a five star resort.

One thing I would have liked to have known was a plan of the hotel. We had a junior suite, but would have traded this for a less extensive room but with a sea view.

All in all, a very pleasant break.
