Fantastic Hotel

Staying at The Vidago Palace Hotel was a fantastic experience and a great place to celebrate my 60th. The staff really went out of their way to look after us. They arranged a tour to the local vineyard/wine producer just a few kilometres away which was probably the best visit of its type we have ever been on - highly recommend this if you are at all interested in wine.
The food at the hotel was of a very good standard (included in our deal) and the drinks were not overpriced for this standard of hotel. The holiday was really good value and I would recommend Fleetway to anyone. My only minor gripe is that the inclusive evening meal was described in the original publicity as being from the a la carte menu when in actual fact it was from a more limited set menu (later described as a 'set a la carte' menu which to me is a contradiction in terms). However the food was excellent and we were well looked after by the hotel and Fleetway in lieu of the slight mis-description so actually no complaints. I have suggested to Fleetway that the advertising should be adjusted accordingly in the future.
