Nice little break away

The hotel was lovely and very modern. Everything was kept very clean and tidy with our room being serviced every morning.
We had a lovely balcony looking out to the sea which we enjoyed having.
The staff were generally polite and courteous and willing to help with anything that they were asked.
Another aspect we liked was the fact it was adults only.
The only thing that could have been better was the food. We had half board, so had breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was fine and much the same as other hotels. We did find dinner a bit chaotic, as it was all served 'buffet style' which is not a great favourite of mine and my husbands anyway. The food was all edible and we managed to find something suitable every night but it was very average and, at times, a bit over cooked.
Some evenings there was entertainment in the bar area and that made for a pleasant evening.
Overall we had a good time and would recommend the Mar Mediterranea hotel and resort, Santa Sussanah.
