It's not surprising it's our third visit to casa calcada. The hotel and staff and food is second to none. Truely a 5 star experience. No request is too much for the staff to handle, all with a smile and infinite ability. They are never over attentive but somehow there when you need them. The overall package was excellent value even including a five course tasting menu shich was delicious.
We did not enjoy travelling easyjet as both flights were delayed with little explanation. Neither did we like the early morning flight as we missed our gorgeous breakfast and had to pay acsurcharge of 30 euros for returning the car early, all of which proved unnecessary as the flight was so delayed.
Overall a wonderful trip, cannot wait to book a further trip with you to amarante in the near future.
