This hotel was brand new. It had not opened in May due to delays. The food was exceptional as was the service from the staff. The grounds were unfinished and the main pool will not be built until next January, if then. The spa was great with hot and cold pools, salt pools, wine pools just amazing!!!!
The air conditioning did not work in our first room but the staff were happy to change it.
You need to make clear that the time to Barcelona is well over half an hour, dependent on traffic, and whilst that worked well for us with very few guests in the hotel; we could NOT advise people to stay there in the future if the prime purpose of their vist is to see Barcelona. If the hotel was full, transfers to Barcelona could be a problem. The woodland walks, and other hotel activities are not yet operating.
Our lasting impression is of a great holiday which suited us well, with lovely staff and food.
