This trip was great value and managed to tick off one on my 'bucket list' - to see the Northern lights! Hotel was very good. As everything in Iceland is expensive, a 'happy hour' with half price drinks was really appreciated. Breakfast was extensive & delicious.
There was a thermally heated outdoor pool only 5 mins walk away.(Bliss!)
The organised trips were great - particularly the Golden Circle which packed in a real flavour of Iceland. We were lucky with the weather - snow and sun! Worth mentioning not as cold as you would think! Pack layers as inside it is always boiling!!All transfers were on time & went smoothly, even though this meant changing at bus station occaisionally.
All in all a fantastic experience which will never be forgotten.
