We were warmly welcomed and dealt with courteously and quickly.Our room was large and beautifully presented, especially the bathroom,which had a double sink, a very large bath, a small wetroom and toilet and some lovely toiletries, which, unfortunately, were not replenished when used!

We had some difficulty when opening the room safe as our password didn,t work for some reason, but themaintenance man soon fixed it. The air conditioning didn't seem to be working, so the room was rather stuffy.
We had a snack and drinks in the lounge bar, which was very pleasant to come back to after a hard day's sightseeing.We had some very pleasant chats with the staff, who were charming.
The breakfasts were out of this world, with cereals,fruit juices, ham and cheese, eggs ,bacon etc. and a massive selection of breads and pastries.
Iwould certainly recommend this hotel for a short break, as we enjoyed it very much, although we would have liked to know that art galleriesetc. areclosed on Mondays.
