Memorable short stay break to Barcelona. Inclu

The overall travel arrangements were good with the notable exception that our transfer pick up at Barcelona airport never turned up. Perhaps because it was Sunday the firm could not be reached and after an hour of waiting we wpere advised by a car hire desk to take a taxi.

This inauspicious start to the trip was rapidly turned to a positive one by the welcome at the hotel. Friendly, helpul and instant responses to queries exemplified the whole hotel experience.

The room was very good and was kept in exceptional cleanliness.

The food was of the highest order and resturant staff were both attentive and helpful.

The Renaissance Barcelona Fira front desk staff helped us with the organisation of transport and bookings so we were able to fill each day with all the "must do" things we had hoped to do in this great city.

This break was over all too soon and the pre booked transfer to the airport for the return flight was confirmed in advance and on this occasion went without a hitch.
