We had high expectations of The Savoy and it almost lived up to them.
The S-class ultra inclusive package was brilliant. In Soho Square there were numerous restaurants which served good quality food and the bars and entertainment were very good.
The hotel grounds were excellent with good quality eating in the on site restaurants.
Our room was large and very comfortable with a sea view, (just).
There were however a few drawbacks which took the shine off the hotel.
The quality of food in the self service restaurant was quite poor with a lack of breakfast cereal and lukewarm tea and coffee most mornings.
If you wanted a bed by the sea be prepared to be there before 7 am. to secure one with a towel, and of course you have to contend with the Russians who outnumber everybody else and tend to dictate everything.
The wifi was costly in public areas and non existent in rooms although it was available in Soho Square, free of charge.
Taking everything into consideration the holiday was great and the staff were very friendly.
The organisation by Fleetway was also very good.
