The customer service was alright. However, my request was not settled.

This Sunday, March 4, I am flying Moscow to New York through Washington. I was trying to make an arrangement that I leave the flight in Washington and just not take the Washington-New York flight. However, I was told that this was not possible (and that in such a case my return ticket would be cancelled) and was told to call the United's customer service. In the United they told me that this kind of request can only be handled through the agency where the ticket was bought.

It makes no sense to me that I cannot leave the flight where I want without risking to loose the return ticket which i have paid for!
