Having been on one cruise with Cruisemiles which was excellent, I have spent a couple of years trying to find a cruise using my remaining cruisemiles. However it is now necessary to buy so many more to 'top up' what used to be ample points. I have 'won' several top up auctions but for some reason (maybe because I am in Australia) I never get told how to pay for them. For months no-one at Cruisemiles answered my emails, my posted questions only other disgruntled members.
Eventually I got a reply from someone telling me my problem had been solved and to go to a link on their site which would answer my problems. It just sent me back to the Help page.
Now my cruisemile points won't even cover a day trip from Sydney and it is impossible to 'win' any more so I have lost lots of money which this pensioner could not afford.

I too paid for the then Diamond and Rainbow Vouchers. We had a 7 day Tassie Cruise with the Diamonds and then added to these with the Miles when they came in. I count myself as fortunate because we did the trip of a lifetime to Canada, cruising to Alaska, then on to Hawaii and back to Sydney in September/October, 2012. When we got back I bought more miles - only now they were getting very pricey. Booked a 17 night NZ - Aus cruise on Celebrity Solstice for February, 2014. Well we all know what happened next. Cruises were cancelled right, left and centre. Friends, I had recommended Cruisemiles to, lost 2 cruises and airfares/accommodation in Hawaii. Boy did I feel bad!!
At present you can't even get in touch with them. Forum isn't working, you can submit questions and I fear for the 5.5million miles/points I hold which cost a fair few dollars. I did write to him via his restaurant, and had a pathetic reply for him saying I should be grateful that I had cruises. Well.. yes... but.... NO... you have my money your complete a--e.
