As a longtime customer of cruisemiles I have seen the vast deterioration of service and value over the years.
At first when the company was small it was a great way to cruise at HUGE discounts. But in the last 1.5 years the "Miles value" has deteriorated about 75% so it is difficult to find anything in your miles range if you can find anything at all.
The amount of cruises available sells out in minutes and with tens of thousands of customers these days there is nowhere near enough cruises available anymore.
Service? It has gotten so bad the CEO has actually THREATENED to ban folks for sending too many emails to find out the status of there cruise or other infomation. It appears like it is a 2 or 3 person company now that several people have left including head of operations who BTW actually did a great job.
If you are lucky enough to find a cruise available the booking information often is sent within 10 days of the sailng making it impossible to make travel plans in advance not knowing if you will get your booking information as MANY cruises are cancelled.
CEO Lester is arrogant, uncaring and thinks himself on a pedestal to be worhipped. Good luck getting him or anyone else to respond to questions as service and communication is NONEXISTENT these days.
Many people are saying it has become a ponzi scheme, who knows for sure but I do know this has become a money pit with valueless miles.
