Folks, please read this.
I had a very bad experience with cox & kings, they screwed up my family trip for which I spend $6000 on tickets.
Submitted my son’s PIO application is delivered to CKGS on 6/18/2014 7:21 AM by FedEx (Track)
But CKGS website show up the below status after 6/21/2014 as below
“Your application has been received and will be submitted subject to verification - 06/20/2014”
Until 7/14/2014 I was in continues touch with my customer care by phone & email, but did not receive appropriate status rather just heard a common statement just like reading from a book “ It is in process” and they don’t respect you. They told it may take up to 4 weeks to process the PIO, which itself is a long time.
On 7/15/2014, below status was displayed in CKGS website (now it more than 4 weeks, but did not receive the passport yet)
“Your application has been collected from the Embassy/Consulate and is being sorted. Your application will be ready for collection from our Application Center within one business day. - 07/14/2014”
I already sent an overnight FedEx return shipping label to them in the initial package as part of the process. At this point, I want to collect the PIO ASAP, so that our family can travel on 7/18.
Called the customer care again with no hope, asked them when they can deliver the passport back to us.
Their answer, “Not sure”. Then asked them to provide the contact number of the center that process it, they refused.
Then asked them to provide resolution/complaint department or a senior member to can address this situation, they said no such thing exist.
Now I end up losing a huge chunk of money in ticket cancellation.
