ASTHMATIC & PEOPLE WITH ACUTE ALLERGIES BEWARE

Six weeks in ADVANCE I reserved a NON-SMOKING, PET FREE ROOM for THREE NIGHTS at the Quality Resort Chateau, Canmore Canada. Two weeks prior to our arrival I verified my confirmation again stating NON-SMOKING, PET FREE ROOM. Arrived at 8:30 PM and assigned a room with a FILTHY, STAINED CARPET. Took pictures. Immediately asked for another room, however, hotel was completely full. All other hotels within a 25 mile radius were full. Coughed all night by morning had NO VOICE, CHEST/HEAD HURT. Didn't know until morning they put us on a floor as well as in a room reserved for guests with pets. Manager was not available for three days. Told they DO NOT HONOR SPECIAL REQUESTS. Sent two certified letters to CEO, PRESIDENT and CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER of Choice Hotels International letting them know our experience. After one month haven't had a response from ANYONE! Jeopardizing people's lives in order to achieve bottom line profit is risky business practice.
