I have been disapointed by booking.com for the second time in the same way...book a room through them...confirmation is sent...recieve email a few days later from hotel saying the room was not available at time of booking.

Searching online is tedious enough without having to go back and do it again because booking.com have an inability to communicate with their hotels.
