No stars for booking.com. I had to cancel within the last 24 hours before check in at my hotel due to illness. Booking.com charged me the entire fee of the booking which was $149.00. I highly recommend that people book their own reservation directly with the hotel. Unbelievable.

Booking.com does not charge you for your reservation. The cancellation policy on Booking.com is provided by the hotel. I'd be happy to approach the hotel on your behalf to determine if they will make an exception to the policy. May I have your booking number please?
