Booking.com have given various excuses why I cannot write a review about a place that was uninhabitable. One can only assuem they do not want negative comments about hotels that are on their site. I have asked customer services (who have continually blocked various requests) for a contact e-mail of a senior person at Booking.com but they have continually refused to gee me any contact details. I had major problems with the place that was uninhabitable and had to fight for my refund.
I shall never use Booking.com again as they try to hide bad reviews. Booking.com did not guarantee my refund so I would not write a review in cad etch hotel did not give me my refund.
The first excuse Booking.com gave that I could not write a review was that I had not booked a room. This is FALSE as one room was in my name, the credit card that guaranteed the room was in my name and I made the booking via my account at Booking.com
The second excuse they gave was that I was too late. This was down to Booking.com not sending me the proof of refund that they had promised. The hotel is pousada Ebano
