The Reservation booked through booking.com was to budget inn motel in Nashville Ar.This a small town in south Arkansas the owners gave us the key at are request to look at the room it was said to be clean room #124 this key to room was given to us upon arrival at my request to be sure it was our non-smoking king size room that we reserved through booking.com we where shown room # 124 at 1:00 pm 6/7/14 the day of my reservation.
When we opened the door to room #124 the smells of it all o my gosh cigarette smoke ,mold and who knows what it was? It hit you in the face good Lord the A/C blows hot air it smells awful so we went back to the office and told the Lady at the desk the cigarette smoke, moldy smelling room wasn't acceptable and it was not the room i reserved non-smoking room was Said clean the bed was made there was clean but stained linen on the bed and One towel in the bathroom On Back the toilet the Lady in office said she had been booked the night before and had not yet cleaned that room to wait a minute she went inside the next room and out came The owner a I'd we would stay in a double bed Room instead of the king if that one wasn't clean enough for me .I said no sir i booked a king size room non- smoking if you can not accommodate me with that kind of room we will go on down the road somewhere to find some Where that can accommodate me with a non smoking king size room he yelled at me and I told him no sir i will not stay anywhere that will make me sick i will be calling booking.com customer service 18888503958 thinking that they are going to try to help me out with this mad an arrogant person who owns the Budget inn motel in Nashville Ar. The owner told me that booking.com works for him not for me that he would charge me for the room he already has my credit card number and would not be canceling my reservation for the room I told him no sir i will not stay anywhere that will make me sick i called booking.com customer service 18888503958 thinking that they are going to help me out with owner They said they were not able to keep budget inn motel owners from charging me Get this & they put me down as a no show even after me calling into booking.com many times on this matter i have been charged for the room and as a no show Sorry people but this is not Good ethics nor is it good business and the things said to me was very arrogant my budget inn motel in Nashville Ar. And very uncalled for thank my reservation and free Cancel means nothing to these services so much for booking.com customer service 18888503958 was of no help owners I was told by booking.com customer service persons that the right to cancel or charge of a room is the choices of motels not the card holders choices sorry people this is not right now are any other time .

I am very sorry to hear about this.
While Booking.com requires a valid credit card to make a booking, unless clearly indicated prior to booking, Booking.com does not charge guests (a booking fee or process payment). Because of this, all refunds are at the sole discretion of the hotel. However, when there is a dispute between the hotel and the guest, Booking.com will assist in finding a resolution. I would like to look into this further for you, can you provide me with your booking number?
