The last three consecutive bookings have been very disappointing. Both advertised sea views. First one had a two inch gap in walls to see the ocean. It was pouting - no covering to enter upstairs room with slippery steps.
Shower so filthy did not use it.
Then the current on The Terrace in east London gave our family room away!!!
Also advertised ocean views. No sight of ocean.
We were put in a horrible hot back room with no AIRCONDITIONING - 35 degree day.
The room has a shower and toilet in the room separated by a low wall.

The writers of marketing adverts are so glowing they no longer represent reality. This is dishonest.
I really feel booking .com should refund us for this booking where the owner was not apologetic at all.
Not on.
Will no longer use booking.com and start campaigning for others to do the same.

Hotels that choose to advertise on Booking.com provide the description and photos that are displayed. To ensure guests have a good understanding of what the hotel is offering, Booking.com also provides the hotels star rating (from independent source), as well as previous guest reviews.
Additionally, Booking.com has a customer service team ready to assist guests (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) when a problem is experienced. I would like to look into the problems you experienced, can you provide me with the booking number?
