“scams galore”

I just booked a room that says "no pre-payment" and then discovered the room cannot be cancelled without a charge. Also, was only informed after the reservation is made that part of the hotel is under construction. I really do hate Booking. com; foolish me for keep coming back!

Sorry for the confusion regarding the policy under which you booked.

As for the construction, the hotels should list this on the booking page so you can see it prior to booking. If it was not noted, we would like to follow up with the hotel.

Please note each hotel sets the policy for each room, this can be seen under "conditions" before you book the room, as well as being on the confirmation we send after the booking. If you were told something that differs from this, it is not correct.
