“Worst customer services”

I booked a hotel with booking.com. On the website and hotel information, it said free cancellation with I had to pay extra. Since my schedule was uncertain, I was willing to pay extra in case I didn't need the hotel. It turned out that I didn't need it. They didn't let me cancel. They said it was non refundable. I was trying to tell them that I paid for the one with free cancellation. The customer service said I had to call the hotel directly. That's terrible. When I called the hotel, they said booking.com had to call them. I called booking.com that they needed to call the hotel themselved. She said she would and never called me back. I called again and asked to talk to the manager. He was a little better and couldn't help me with anything. Overall, they are rude people. I would never book with them and never recommend them to anyone. OVOID at no cost!!
