“I've paid upfront!”

The reason I opted for Bookings.com was because I was told by a friend that you are only charged when you arrive at the hotel. When booking it said that I would be charged on the day of booking but had not pre-warned me of that. I went ahead and booked it anyway as it was the hotel and price that I wanted but I am not impressed with this..I thought that that was the reason on-line bookings with this company were popular as you had time to pay the money..not so.

You havent paid yet...they take card details to secure the booking and to enable a charge should you cancel. You will pay upon departure. Check your bank/card statement and then I suggest you amend your review to correct your comments.
