I booked four nights of hotel in London. It came to $377.00 but my confirmation said 241.92 pounds. My husband was just charged $401.04 for what I thought was a $377.00 hotel stay. You cannot rely on the price quoted by Booking.com for overseas travel. When I called they said they could cancel the booking for 66 pounds. That was my only recourse.
I previously did the same trip to London on Hotels.com and had no problem whatsoever. The price quoted was the price we paid. This was my first contact with Booking.com and it will be my last. They can't be trusted.

Hi Daveypoo,
We're sorry there has been some confusion.
All the rates shown on our website are quoted in the hotels local currency. Do you know if the British Pound amount you paid was different to that stated on your confirmation email?
If so, we can definitely help you! Can you reply with your booking number and we will have a second investigation.
Thanks!
