I recently took a trip to Central Europe. I made many reservations on hotel booking sites for my month long trip While searching for a reservation through Booking.com for Warsaw, the website took me to another city in Poland nowhere near where I intended to visit. I found out about it when I arrived at the train station in Warsaw and was told it was a city near Germany. The name of the city sounded like it would be a suburb of Warsaw. Because I never searched for that location, I assumed it was in or near Warsaw. I had to make a quick reservation on the spot at a much greater price. When I contacted Booking.com they informed me that they could do nothing to reimburse me and that the responsibility was mine to review the order. I travel a lot and think they could have reimbursed me in some way. Beware: this website may take the customer away from your desired location to another unrelated location without informing him or her.
