I've used this website many times as my wife and I are weekend travelers, I wake up check for a hotel, book and go simple as that. Sometimes for 2 days sometimes for longer depending on how the mood takes us. This site for me has simple booking proceedure has a vast selection of hotels based all over the uk (and world if your interested). To use the search function i type in a place name and all available options are there in front of me on the screen. You can pick and choose from various themes, i.e luxury, b&b, shopping, spa break etc, with a list of must have facilities if you require them like indoor pool, wifi, gym, free parking or pets allowed etc. Most hotels on there if not all also show you reviews from travelers so theres always a chance to prepare yourself from the unexpected i,e building works (or a green swimming pool not in use!) There are plenty of photos as well, of course that depends on the hotel owners more than the site. But they load quickly and so far the site has not been plagued with endless adverts ruining the web, which is a big plus for me.
