We were planning a trip to Germany which would include a period of 6-7 days when we would stay with our daughter who lives there. This would be followed by visits to three other places where we would stay in hotels.

On entering the name of each of the three towns and required dates we were given details of a wide choice of hotels with a details of the rooms available.

We made our reservations through booking.com but unfortunately, 10 days later discovered that our daughter would not be available during the period that we had assumed.

As a result of this we needed to reschedule our visits to two of the three towns. One of the hotels we had booked had no vacancies for our new dates.
We had to cancel our reservation there and find an alternative, and amend the dates at the other hotel.

This was all accomplished easily through the booking.com website and we are pleased (and relieved) to be able to report that their 'no cancellation fees' promise is true.
