I am very unhappy you advertise prices in £ but make me pay in € using an inflated exchange rate.

I was delighted by the ease with which I was able to make my booking for a hotel in Banff !!! I had tried through another web-site, but somehow I could not complete the transaction. I kept getting error messages. Your website asked for less information, and managed the whole thing very quickly!
Thank you, and congratulations on an excellent service.

Dear customer,
Thank you for your post. Normally, you pay the hotel in local currency. The displayed amount was indicative and based on the exchange rate. However, we would be more than happy to investigate this for you. Therefore, we would like to ask you if you can provide us with your booking number, so that we can look into it.
Thanks!

Hi,
We are sorry that you feel this way.
On our website you can select the currency you would like to the the price in, in order to give you an indication what the cost is in your selected currency. However, we inform our customer that the payment will be made by the property in local currency.
If you would like us to look into your case, please be so kind to provide us with your reservation number in order for our specialized team to look into this matter for you again.
Thank you!

The booking number is 902296760. The point I am making is that I decided to use you on the basis of the £ figure you quoted. As things stand I will have to pay in local currency the equivalent of a € price which uses a £ € conversion rate of £1 = €1.25. I can't remember the last time the rate was as high as 1.25, it currently hovers around £1.20 - 4% difference in your favour. You should ask UK clients to pay the local equivalent of the £ figure which appears on the website. I look forward to hearing from you.
