Why do you show the date format in the American style?

My booking details show my arrival and departure dates as

Check-in
2012-09-23 from 15:00 - 00:00.

Check-out
2012-09-24 from 10:00 - 11:00.

I'm booking an English hotel from within England.
So why don't you show the date format in the English manner?
