We have had quite a terrible experience with your service overall (minus the third phone call we made - the woman was very nice and patient). We messed up a name on one of our flight tickets and called in to change it. While it's understandable that we would get charged a $25 fee for needing to fix our mistake, we never agreed to pay an additional $100 for a change in ticket price (if we were told, we would have opted to go straight through United and gotten the original value). The woman on the line told us that there would be no additional amount (either she straight up lied to us or didn't make it clear that bookit would not charge us an additional, but the airline would). We didn't know there had been additional charges until we checked our credit card statement. The ticket amount was $100 more expensive. I called three more times after that to nicely tell them that we hadn't agreed to any of this and the phone reps were rude, short and not helpful at all. I asked if I could get a transcript of all of the previous conversations to show them we had not agreed to the change in price, she said she submitted a request and that I should receive it by the morning. 3 days later, I have still not received it. We recently found 3 more $8.99 airline insurance charges on our credit card. All we want at this point is a refund of the price increase, or recorded proof that we agreed to it (which oh wait, conveniently will never be provided to us). We are REALLY hoping that these are not from BookIt or there will be actual angry phone calls to come.
