Bookit said the service fee was going to be 15.00 per day and no other fee.

The service fee for this hotel is 18.00 per day plus tax.

If you opt for late check out depending on the time of day there's a fee for that as well. The fee depends on what time you check out (11 is check out - you have the option with and additional fee of 25.00 to check out between 12 & 2 pm, or for 50.00 you can check out between 3 & 5 pm).

The hotel is nice, if you're allergic to feathers or down ask for a room with alternate bedding due to allergies. They will accomodate you. Ask well in advance so there are is no dander from the feathers in the air.
(Yes I forgot to ask... They did ask if I would like another room, I asked to simply have my bedding changed - my mistake - suffered the whole time as they have rooms already made up for that purpose).

Security is EXCELLENT, Staff is EXCELLENT (from bellhops to checkout... with the exception of an arrogant male bartender that worked Saturday, October 5, 2013 in Crickets , and he also worked in the other resturant Sunday, October 6, 2013 - (that by the way was only open for Sunday breakfast the whole time we were there)and our housekeeper on Sunday, October 6, 2013 left much to be desired, the one the day before was spectacular.) Grab and Go prices are extremely overpriced. The hotel book in your room says the mall closes earlier than it actually does, I guess because it's so big they want you to have time to get back to the hotel before they shut the gates to the enterance. They resturant - not Crickets but the other one, is not open at the times it states and they do not have the same menu as Crickets, it's a different menu in the room for room service, and Starbucks in the hotel is not open they were in the process of building it or renovating after gutting it, i saw the inside when a worker went in and pulled back the plastic sheeting. It's a work in progress, but, there is a Starbucks not too far a walk inside the mall, until that one is completed - you just have to wait for the mall to be open.


The location was nice especially if you like to shop as you walk past the check in desk right into the Florida Mall.

We are sorry to hear you had some issues with your hotel. The information we give about resort fees, etc. is true at the time of your booking. The hotel may have increased their fee after the time of your booking.
