Booked a hotel for my girlfriend who was out of town and couldn't continue to stay where she was at. So used bookit.com and booked a room at America's Best. Well the nightmare started when the hotel didn't receive the payment from bookit.com. The manager didn't believe there was such a site as bookit.com. So she was charged the price of the room which I had already paid. She spent a total of about 7 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved with bookit.com. The standard wait time was upwards of 30min. Even when she got to talk to someone she was put on hold for a minimum of 30 more minutes. No updates from the customer service rep saying, yeah I am still working on resolving your issue. I will never use bookit.com again for the hassle I got from them. One customer service person told actually hung up on her cause he didn't want to deal with it. Told her to call back and talk to someone else and hung up. WTF??
