Costa Rica vacation

Let me make this clear, the service and prices from BookIt.com were great.I am rating my travel to Costa Rica.
First time visiting Costa. I have to say it was NOT what I was expecting.I felt the people were very fake in their customer service.If you rent a car you are required one of 2 things either to provide them with a $5000 deposit of you must get their insurance which will cost you anywhere from $40-60 a day this information is not provided to you over the phone or on the web site its only provided to you once you get there.
Beware in some parts of Costa there seems to be a trend "NO ONE" has change for anything you purchase so make sure you exchange your dollars into colones and do it at the airport to get the best price.Be sure to look at all the prices especially at any restaurant/bar as the prices posted are NOT what you pay. On top of the prices posted you are hit with a 13% sales tax and a 10% service fee then you are also asked for tip from that total. When ordering drinks beware most bars and restaurants will charge for the liquor and for the soda separately.
The best part of the trip was the zip lining we did at Hacienda Robles.
Great people, honest, friendly. If you are the adventurous type I truly recommend, if you are afraid of heights stay away.
