Thanks Barrhead Travel for Making my Trip to Vienna Perfect

Friendly and helpful atmosphere when entering the premises. Immediate attention of member of staff who was free. Very helpful as I was an independent traveller I wanted flights from Glasgow to Vienna on specific days. I also had the name of a hotel recommended by my friends in Vienna which was some 10 minutes walk from where they lived. As it turned out this hotel was fully booked for the period I wished to stay in Vienna, so I gave the lady who was dealing with me their address and asked for a good hotel within 10-15 minutes walking distance of their address. This did not present her with any problems and did in retrospect find me a good hotel within my specifications. The member of staff recommended that I might like to purchase before I went a Big Bus Tour Ticket - I had never heard of this - but thought that as I would be having a day on my own without my friends sounded like a good idea - it was brilliant and in some ways this 24 hour ticket was a highlight of my week away, as I fitted in both tours one in the morning and one in the afternoon and got to places that I would have been unable to - and of course it is a hop on hop off.

Documentation for my trip was produced on the spot. My tickets arrived 5 days before I was due to travel. I had been in a few days before to check when my tickets would arrive and a very helpful member of staff was able to access the relevant information. My tickets and other documents were all correct and there was sufficient time if there had been any problems for these to have been resolved.

Ability to obtain foreign currency at same location as booking travel arrangements appreciated.

All in all I appreciated the trouble that the staff took for me as an independent traveller
