Because our planned walking holiday in Austria was cancelled because the company providing it ceased trading we visited Barrhead Travel at the Cameron Toll Shopping Centre in Edinburgh to see what alternatives might be available. A week's holiday in Garda from the Crystal Summer brochure was on offer and was very well described in detail by the consultant who dealt with us. She was also able to book us tickets for the opera "Aida" in the Arena at Verona. Because the flight to Italy was an early morning departure from Glasgow she also arranged accommodation and car parking for us near the airport. All this entailed quite a lot of work but it was all done efficiently and pleasantly.
